Welcome to Ithaca and Tompkins County, the 14850 ZIP Code that gives us our domain name. We've been publishing 14850 Magazine since 1992, and our Ithaca-centric web site was not far behind. Explore these pages to find out more about Ithaca and the surroundings.

The Ithaca Waterfront and West End includes the Cayuga Waterfront Trail, Inlet Island, Taughannock Boulevard, and the Route 13 area, as well as what used to be called the Octopus. You'll find dozens of businesses ranging from cozy eateries to bustling seafood restaurants, a natural foods grocery, nightclub, jewelry store, kayak rentals, offices, and more, as well as residential areas.
Meantime, visit the links below for some of the Ithaca Waterfront's offerings, and the areas a little farther away.
Eat on Ithaca's Waterfront
Enjoy raw oysters and Cajun cuisine at Maxie's Supper Club, old-fashioned American fare at the Lehigh Valley House, Cuban sandwiches at Mi Casita, Italian and steaks at the legendary Joe's, or flatbread pizzas at Felicia's Atomic Lounge.

Right on the Cayuga Lake Inlet is the Allan H. Treman State Marine Park, or Treman Marina, with hundreds of slips of varying sizes for sailboats and motorboats. Don't have your own boat? Rent a kayak or canoe from Puddledockers!
Treman Marina is also a great place for a picnic or to walk your dog, and it's also adjacent to the Hangar Theatre and Cass Park. The Hangar Theatre offers wonderful stage productions throughout every summer, and the City of Ithaca operates Cass Park year-round, with seasonal ice rink for hockey and skating, seasonal outdoor swimming pool, picnic areas, and ball fields.
